Prerequisites
• Foundations curriculum – This is a prerequisite for the professional course
• Anatomy and physiology – Students who are not existing health professionals have an additional requirement to provide proof of completion of Anatomy & Physiology from an accredited institution, (1 college credit = 15-16 classroom hours, or self-paced online which can often be completed more quickly.) required to graduate with a professional certification

**170 hours in addition to the required Level 1 Foundation hours, for a total minimum of 230 hours. The professional requirement applies to existing health professionals such as: Massage Therapists, Herbalists, Nurses, and Physicians. Students who are not existing health professionals have an additional requirement to provide proof of completion of Anatomy & Physiology 2 from an accredited institution, or the equivalent class taken from a NAHA approved school. Anatomy & Physiology Level 2 is a 3-4 credit undergraduate class which typically covers: The Reproductive System; The Cardiovascular System; The Lymphatic System & The Immune System; The Urinary System; The Digestive System.
